Seal the cut point with silicone caulk. Bubble: We also sell Waterproof Strip Light end caps that you can put on before caulking. I’ll use tent pegs to keep the strip in place. We’ll run the power cable from the basement window. 18/2 LED Lamp Wire A Waterproof Solder Connector Some silicone on the ends Now to choose a power source… Hard-Wired Driver and AC Power Cable Can be connected with wire nuts and plugged into an outlet. Or the plug-in adapter and LED adapter splice cable It’s simple and connects directly to the lamp wire. Electrical wires should be buried at least 6″ deep.
